CFL has chosen to highlight its working capital facility rate by way of comparison to the overdraft facility rates charged by the major trading banks operating in New Zealand.
Despite the trading banks commonly being perceived as the lowest cost providers it is not necessarily the case.
The overdraft management fee, also known as a line fee, is a percentage of an overdraft's limit and is charged annually. It is charged even if you do not use the facility. Meaning that if you arrange an overdraft facility of $100,000.00 you will be charged between $1,200.00 and $1,800.00 per annum.
